Maritime cybersecurity company CYTUR has been selected for Korea’s 2026 second round of the Innovation Premier 1000 program. CYTUR was named by both the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (MOF), making it the only company included in both ministries’ second-round selection lists.

Innovation Premier 1000 is a government program jointly operated by the Financial Services Commission and 13 industry-related ministries to identify and support small and medium-sized enterprises and mid-sized companies with strong innovation and growth potential. In the second round, 547 selections were made across participating ministries, including 108 companies selected by MSIT and 25 by MOF.

CYTUR develops and provides maritime cybersecurity solutions covering the entire vessel lifecycle, from design and construction to delivery and operation. Its selection by both MSIT and MOF also reflects the intersection of the two areas in which CYTUR operates: cybersecurity technology and the maritime industry.

Selected companies are eligible for preferential financial and non-financial support from policy financial institutions, as well as support programs offered by the respective ministries, through the end of 2027.

Building on this selection, CYTUR will continue to advance its maritime cybersecurity technologies and expand their application and commercialization across the domestic and global shipbuilding and shipping markets.
