

Presenting developed technologies and participating in discussions at the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Annual Symposium
CYTUR Inc. (CEO Cho Yong-hyun), a company specializing in maritime mobility cybersecurity for smart ships, autonomous vessels, and smart naval ships, announced on the 30th that it has secured Pre-Series A investment from the Darae Strategic Commercialization Center (CEOs Bae Soon-gu and Kim Jeong-guk). The investment round was joined by Lighthouse Combine Invest and Sunbo Angel Partners. The funds raised will be used to recruit specialized talent and for research and development (R&D).
CYTUR CEO Cho Yong-hyun stated, “This investment is a recognition of our ship cybersecurity technology and business viability,” adding, “We will take on the role of First Mover in the ship cybersecurity sector in the global market.”
Darae Strategic Commercialization Center CEO Bae Soon-gu commented, “With the growing global demand for cybersecurity, we expect significant growth and revenue expansion in the maritime cybersecurity solutions business.” He added, “CYTUR, an outstanding company from Darae’s AI Security Promising Company Incubation Program, has a solid technology foundation and organizational structure aligned with the global market environment where compliance with ship cyber resilience regulations (UR E26 and E27) is now mandatory. We decided to invest based on the expectation that CYTUR will expand into the global market through partnerships with domestic and international shipbuilders.”
